Literacy
We work hard everyday on our sounds, grammar, reading and writing. Last term we learned about report writing. It was a lot of fun looking at how to write a report. We used 'Showbie' app to research arctic animals. We then looked at the fierce Snow Leopard and created a report using 'Pages' App on this arctic animal.
This term we have been looking at Narrative writing. We linked our final piece with our WAU topic 'dinosaurs'. We are writing a story based on our own dinosaurs.
We are using Blooms Buttons for guided reading sessions in class.
In Year 4 we have our weekly spelling challenge on a Friday. We also use a lot of iPad apps to enhance all areas of literacy.....have a look for yourself!
