Our creative writing genres this term are Balanced Arguments and Biographies.
We will be learning about the Victorians and their amazing inventions as part of our World Around Us topic. Children will research famous Victorians and how they lived. We will do a host of STEM lessons learning about the amazing inventions that still have an impact on lives today.
Our first class novel is Under the Hawthorne Tree, a fabulous story about a family struggling during the Great Famine.
Remember to keep working hard at home with your child. Practice tables, spellings and reading every night. We are so lucky to have Accelerated Reading in our school so keep quizzing on your books and get as many points as you can.
As a Seesaw Ambassador I believe it is a fantastic tool for communicating with parents and for giving you an insight into your child's learning. Remember to scan the QR Code in your child's homework book to access their learning journal.
