Welcome to our class page!

We are as busy as bees in Miss Donnelly's class.

We are fantastic at organising ourselves for the day at school. We are very independent, remembering to change our shared book each morning, choosing our snack and putting away our schoolbags and lunch boxes.

We are learning all about Kipper and his family and are working hard learning our words to help us read our Oxford Reading Tree books.

We have been working extremely hard with our letter sounds and blends. Remember to ask your child which sounds we are learning about so you can play games like 'I spy' at home.

One of our favourite times of the day is when we get to use the iPads for our learning. We love using them to practice our sounds, handwriting and word building skills as well as for fun stuff!

The topics we are working on this year are Hey, Hey Look at Me!, Twinkle Twinkle, Once Upon a Time, Lets Get Growing and Splish, Splash, Splosh.  Remember to ask your child about our topic work and what we have been discovering in class.

Homework is an opportunity for you to support your child's learning at home and to keep up to date with what is happening in class.  Please remember to keep a record of the shared reading books which the children take home in their homework books.

PE gear is kept in school and goes home each half term. Remember to clearly mark all of your child's belongings with their name to prevent any mix ups.
