Calling all friends and parents of St Oliver Plunkett Primary School
We believe that the heart of our school is the children and that their parents and community play an important role in all of the successes the children will achieve during their time in St Oliver Plunkett and beyond.
We are hoping to set up a parents association (Parents/friends of St Oliver Plunkett P.S) and we are calling on all our parents / friends of St Oliver Plunkett to come along and get involved. This group will operate to raise vital funds to enhance the learning experiences in school and as a charity may be eligible for outside funding.
Some of the aims of this group include:
• Opportunities for children to socialise outside school hours e.g. school disco, movie nights, fun runs, Christmas fayre etc.
• Creation of a safe sensory area to support children with Special Educational needs in the school.
• Creation of a Parents forum: a purpose built area to accommodate parents training, education, support, therapy, advice and signposting.
• Purchase of a school mini-bus
