Celebrating Internet Safety Day 2026 & Children’s Mental Health Week
With a splash of colour for Crazy Hair Day!
This week our school came together to celebrate Internet Safety Day 2026 alongside Children’s Mental Health Week, and what a brilliant week it’s been! 💻💙
Across the school, pupils took part activities and discussions focused on staying safe online, being kind and respectful in digital spaces, and knowing where to go for help if something online doesn’t feel right. Children explored topics such as privacy, screen time, positive online behaviour, and how to support one another both on and offline.
At the same time, we marked Children’s Mental Health Week by encouraging open conversations about feelings, resilience, and wellbeing. Classes shared thoughtful discussions, creative activities, and calming moments, all reminding us how important it is to look after our mental health and to support our friends.
To top off the week, we held a Crazy Hair Day 🎉 — and the results were amazing! From rainbow spikes to glittery curls and gravity-defying styles, the school was full of colour, smiles, and laughter. Crazy Hair Day helped us celebrate individuality, boost confidence, and bring some extra fun to an important week of learning and reflection.
Thank you to our pupils, staff, and families for supporting these events and helping us reinforce such important messages in a joyful and memorable way. 💫
