In numeracy, pupils engage in mental maths activities each day. Pupils participate in a range of number, shape and space, measures and data handling each week. Pupils also use the RUCSAC strategy to help solve word problems. The pupils have also started to use the accelerated maths programme which enables them to answer a range questions generated from set objectives presented as multiple choice questions. Alongside this, pupils participate in practical sessions using the IZAK 9 CUBE. Pupils can solve a range of mathematical problems using the Izak 9 cube.
