    Farewell and Thank you

As we reach the end of another school year, we say goodbye to two much loved and valued members of staff, our Principal Mr Mc Cabe and our Vice Principal Mrs Roche.

After an incredible 60 years of combined service we say farewell to them both as they begin a well deserved retirement.

Their dedication, wisdom and kindness to all those who have passed through the doors of SOP has left a lasting legacy that will never be forgotten. They will be deeply missed by pupils, parents, staff and the wider community.

🏐 P6 Gaelic Football Tournament – A Celebration of Sport and Community 🏐

St. Oliver Plunkett Primary School was proud to host our Gaelic football tournament for Primary 6 boys and girls last Friday, welcoming a number of local and visiting primary schools to take part in a day of sport and community spirit.

All participating schools demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship and played in the true spirit of Gaelic games, making the event a memorable and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

We extend our sincere thanks to St. Paul’s GAC and Rossa GAC for generously providing their excellent facilities, and to The Pizza Place and Coyle’s Bakery for their kind support in providing a fantastic spread for all our guests.

A huge well done to all schools who were involved on the day- Bunscoil Phobal Feirste, St Bernards Glengormley, Ballymacrickett, Our Lady Queen of Peace, St Annes, Holy Evangelist

It was a wonderful day that highlighted the power of Gaelic games to bring young people together, and we look forward to many more events like this in the future.
