Year 3 enjoyed a special visit from the crew of Springfield Fire Station today.

They explained the dangers we face within the home, how to test your smoke alarm and what to do in the event of a fire. This was part of their topic 'Houses and Homes.'

A special thank you goes to Kevin Mc Glinchey, one of our parents - for facilitating this event.

We are delighted to confirm that we have been successful in being awarded the Eco-Schools Green Flag for June 2024. Congratulations to staff, pupils, our caretaking team and the many parents who helped our school achieve its environmental targets.

Extra Curricular Success

Congratulations to Leighton Lynott who won several awards at his dance competition over Easter. 👏👏👏

Well done to Year 1 pupils, Calden Kane and Georgia Maguire. Calden received a medal and trophy for Player of the Week from his local Gaelic Club, St. Paul’s and Georgia won her trophy for her fantastic attitude and effort towards Hip Hop Dancing 🤩

Year 1 Still Life Painting (and Eating!)

As part of their Yum Yum topic in school the children were painting still life paintings of different fruit. The best part was getting to sample the delicious fruit at the end of the week 🍉🍐🍏🍍🥭

Book Sale

Dear Parents,
Thank you for your support for the book sale this morning.
Many children went home with lots of books. It is great to see such a buzz around reading.
Please check that all the books purchased were suitable and appropriate.
Many books have been donated to us and it is not always possible to check every individual title.

We are always grateful for every book donation. If you are doing a spring clean over the holidays and find library, reading or AR books please bring them back in
to school, no questions asked.

We managed to raise £149.50 for good causes. So thank you again.
