    Wed 19 Nov 2025

We are delighted to share some fantastic news! Our Primary Seven pupil, Malachy Marley, has achieved an incredible milestone in engineering innovation.

His idea—a swing designed specifically for individuals with reduced mobility or wheelchair users—was chosen because it addresses a significant gap in the market. This thoughtful design not only earned a Silver Award, but also captured the hearts of thousands in thePublic Vote, winning the prestigious Commendation Award.

Malachy joined over 200 guests at The Drapers’ Hall in London to celebrate nine groundbreaking prototypes—created by pupils and brought to life by early-career engineers and students—that have the potential to change the world.

We are so proud of Malachy for his creativity, innovation and achievement.Congratulations, Malachy! 🌟
