• Celebrating St. Brigid

  P1D thoroughly enjoyed Friday’s Religion lesson, where the children learned about Saint Brigid. They discussed why St Brigid is such an important Saint of Ireland and listened to the story of St Brigid’s cloak. They then discussed the story of ‘St Brigid and the Butter’, and finished off by making their own butter, which was the spread on to some yummy biscuits! 🍪 🧈.

  Catholic Schools' Week - Grandparents' Day

  We had a wonderful week celebrating Catholic Schools’ Week.

   

  On Tuesday, the grandparents of Year 3 children were invited to the hall to make rosettes.

   

  The children were so excited to welcome them.

   

  We pray for our parents and grandparents, who love us, care for us and teach us by their words and deeds how to be like Jesus. We ask you to care for and protect them for us. We pray to the Lord. Response: Lord, hear our prayer.
